The AMP Research F4 BLT is a parallelogram linkage suspension fork engineered by the legendary designer Horst Leitner. This linkage architecture was specifically developed to eliminate binding, torsional flex, and the excessive weight associated with conventional telescopic designs. Constructed with anodized gun metal gray legs made of Alcoa Alcalyte 6013 aluminum, the system utilizes dependable coil springs paired with a through-shaft oil shock absorber featuring temperature compensation. Weighing in at 2.9 lbs, this platform stood out as one of the lightest cross-country suspension systems of its era.
