Model Significance
The 1993 Bridgestone XO-1 is one of the most versatile and iconic bicycles ever produced by the brand, designed under the direction of Grant Petersen. The frame features a brazed, lugged construction made in Japan using Ishiwata Croston 022E quattro-butted chromoly (CrMo) steel tubing. Its most famous – and polarizing – feature is the "Moustache" handlebar, which provides multiple hand positions, making the bike exceptional for long-distance road riding, commuting, and light fire-roading.
