Model Significance

The Killer V frame is based on the Delta V technology introduced in 1992, representing a technical breakthrough in the rigid mountain bike category. The design combines a Delta V-style top tube with the brand's proven 3.0 Series mountain geometry, resulting in a reinforced head tube/down tube junction and unmatched stand-over clearance. Weighing only 3.4 pounds (approx. 1.54 kg), it was among the lightest frames available at the time while offering superior flex-resistance compared to previous 3.0 Series models. The accompanying Pepperoni fork featured an oversized 1.25-inch steerer tube and rigid aluminum blades to ensure precise steering and control.
