Model Significance

The 1997 Super V 4000 DH is Cannondale's iconic downhill racing machine, made famous by the Volvo/Cannondale team. The frame featured the massive 6061-T6 aluminum "Active" swingarm and a sophisticated integrated roller guide system. This model was a dominant force on the late 90s Downhill World Cup circuit.
