The Specialized Allez Transition represents the manufacturer's early 1991 aerodynamic road racing platform engineered specifically for triathletes and time trials. The chassis features a distinct "Fast Forward" frame geometry configured with a steep 78-degree seat angle and a 72-degree head angle to enhance breathing and enforce an optimal aero tuck. The platform was offered across two trim variations: the high-tier, Black Satin-finished Transition Pro and the solid magenta-finished base Transition.

While omitted from the title typography on the original catalog sheets, the neon yellow ALLEZ logotype is prominently featured across the frame tubing and this accurate reproduction kit.
